If I power down and unplug, all red lights of death are gone. When I turn it off and on again, the CPU light is off but the MemOK! Light continues to flash. However, if I push the MemOK! Button, the CPU light turns on and the MemOK! Light blinks. UPDATE 6: when I turn on the PC no red lights of death come on. UPDATE 5: I have changed the GPU's PCIe slots. I restarted it again but now I'm back to nothing. I jumped into BIOS, but before I could do anything the computer froze. ![]() I swapped out video cards and was able to get a picture. I removed my memory to check and make sure the speaker worked. UPDATE 3: I found an internal speaker and check for any beeps. I have not touched the BIOS key this round. I pushed the mem OK button and that is now flashing. I plugged it back in and turned it on by the case button. I turned it off, then pressed the BIOS key and we are back to where we started. UPDATE 1: I had the PC unplugged for a bit. My keyboard Num Lock key does not turn on but the light on my headphones does light up (both USB) Often I get memok flashing at me but I figure that is because of me swapping sticks out trying to get it back on. When I turn it on from the case, the CPU led is on. I unplugged the OS drive and now, when I push the BIOS key on the Motherboard, the CPU led is not on. After an hour or so, the PC froze and the CPU led is back on. I pulled the my memory out and left 1 stick in. I woke up and I had a black screen and the CPU LED on. Regardless of the CPU fault LED being Lit I am pretty sure now that the Mother board is the problem the Fault the replacement tested FX8350 did not work.Overnight the PC was on and downloading something. Both AM3+ and transfer everything across pretty cheap but I would like to know what is happening. ![]() or maybe the Bios chip is corrupted/failed I can buy a bullet proof Giggabite GA series ot ASUS Sabertooth 990FX. I will leave things as they are for 24 hours see what other suggestion come in I am feeling that the fault could be a capacitor or some other part of the CPU circuit on the Board that is so close to the CPU it indicates as a CPU Fault. it was connected I removed it and tested it it's working. Another strange oddity is that the motherboard is designed to not boot up if the speaker is not connected. ![]() I have found numerous occurrences of my problem on youtube but people only appear to be able to confirm what has happened not why. ASUS and AMD have a symbiotic relationship as companies it is why their products work so well together. The power to MB green light comes on and the on/ off button illuminates that is all I get so for some reason the CPU so power is getting to the board. In my case the single beep does not occur the fan on the CPU starts as normal. When I turn on the normal result is a single Beep this is normal for all computers as you know it is the POST ( Power on Self Test) beep.
